KC Masterpiece Restaurants Team up with Their Vendors to Raise Money for Tsunami Disaster Relief Effort
LENEXA, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 18, 2005--KC Masterpiece restaurants will host a benefit dinner at each of its three locations on Monday, January 24th from 4pm to close, to raise money for the Tsunami victims. "We want to do what we can to help those who are in need," said KC Masterpiece(R) owner and founder, Rich Davis.
Guests pay $20 for an all inclusive dinner -- 100% of the proceeds from the evening will go to the American Red Cross for the Tsunami Disaster Relief Fund.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at the restaurants or at the door on Monday evening. The benefit dinner will include non-alcoholic drinks, salad, an appetizer and your choice of entree: half chicken, brisket platter or 2 ribs with a pig pickin' pork sandwich. Dessert options will also be available.
Those who purchase the $20 tickets in advance will be entered in a drawing for a fabulous weekend getaway package. There will also be a number of raffles and a silent auction held that evening with items contributed by KC Masterpiece's vendors including: autographed KU, MU, Rams, Cardinals memorabilia and many other donations. A trust fund will also be established at Bank of America for cash contributions.
